In addition to solid concrete, also precast hollow core plank, it can be used in post-tensioned concrete slabs and concrete pours over metal deck. It is suitable for overhead applications. The Hollow-Set Drop-in anchor is designed for anchoring in hollow base materials such as hollow concrete block, brick with weep holes and hollow core pre-cast concrete plank in bolt sizes 1/4" thru 5/8". It can also be used in solid base materials. Hollow masonry materials often have a minimum outer wall thickness of 1 1/2". The anchor requires a Hollow-Set tool for expansion in hollow base materials, see Hand Tools.
